Career highlight(s): The career highlight I'm most proud of is winning our first big prototype contract. This proposal was in full competition with big defense contractors, and our three person company managed to win. The project goal was to develop an ultra high resolution camera (52MP and 4K) to help bomb squads assess threats. The concept was so well received we ultimately built 110.
Community Involvement: My community involvement includes serving on the board of advisors for UVM's college of engineering and mathematical sciences, and supporting NASA's robotics internships as a subject matter expert at Johnson Space Center in Houston.
What motivated you to live and work in Vermont? I was motivated to live and work in Vermont by the quality of life and outdoor playgroup opportunities. I'm a big skier, mountain biker, and offroad motorycle rider. It's hard to find a better place.
Favorite part of your job: My favorite part of my job is coming up with new concepts for our customers problems.
Favorite Vermont escape: My favorite Vermont escape is the Skytop ridge.
