Being an equity consultant and qualitative research analyst with the Vermont Partnership for Fairness and Diversity.
Your community involvement:
1) Vice president of the Rutland Area branch of the NAACP; 2) statewide co-chair and education committee member of the Jamaica Diaspora Northeast United State Council; 3) member of the kitchen cabinet for Senator Becca Balint’s congressional campaign; and 4) grant reviewer with The Vermont Community Foundation. All of these experiences involve fostering wholeness and inclusion in our community and state in various ways.
Inspiration for living and working in Vermont:
It’s a place full of opportunity to become an equitable and welcoming space. There are many committed, intentional, passionate people committed to these efforts, and I’m lucky to have even a small part in it.
