ALI Freeman
Favorite Part of Job: I love that every day is different and that I get to share important stories with Vermonters. I also love discovering new parts of the state that I had never visited growing up.
Most Inspiring Mentor: My parents. No matter what I wanted to do with my life or wherever I ended up, they taught me to work as hard as possible, be kind and stay true to myself.
Tell us something fun about yourself that few people know: As somewhat of a tomboy growing up (bowl cut and all), I spent nearly all of my free time in school playing sports. My favorite was as an ice hockey goalie at U-32!
Favorite Vermont Escape: Lake Fairlee! For about 20 years I spent every summer at Camp Billings (first as a camper then a counselor) and my family still spends time in that area frequently.
Favorite downtime activity: Pretty much anything outside: skiing, running, hiking and going on adventures with our pup Nellie. But I also love (attempting to) cook and a good nap.
Favorite Social Media: I'm on Instagram way too much. I'm also secretly obsessed with Pinterest because if I can't actually be crafty then I can at least pretend, right?
