Favorite Part of Job? Being able to balance managing the company while still towing and working on vehicles. I enjoy that fact that my day never looks the same.
Most Inspiring Mentor: While growing up my father was my mentor. He has taught me the importance of work ethic, as well as managerial business skills. While running a successful business he also taught me the importance of giving back to the community.
Tell us something fun about yourself that few people know: In my early twenties I was in a bowling league with some high school friends. We were known as the "Swamp Donkeys."
Favorite Hobby: I enjoy playing men's league hockey, golfing and renovating my home.
Favorite Vermont Escape: My family and I enjoy spending time at Shelburne Farms.
Favorite Social Media: I enjoy keeping up with friends on Facebook
Favorite Website: I frequent Yahoo Sports and Tower Hobbies websites.
Vermont Business Person you would like to have lunch with: I would enjoy to have lunch with the owner of Handy's Service Center. He has a well known and very successful business that I look up to.
Career Highlights: Graduating from Ohio Technical College and opening Townline Auto Repair in 2005 were the foundation blocks to my successful business. In 2007, I was financially able to hire my 1st employee. This allowed me to expand my automotive services to customers. I started towing for AAA in 2010 and within a year I became primary service provider for AAA in Northern New England. Over the past 3 years I have expanded my towing fleet to 5 trucks servicing Franklin, Grand Isle and Chittenden Counties. Currently, Townline Auto consists of 10 employees.
Community Involvement: I grew up volunteering for the American Red Cross with my father. As a businessman, I donate yearly to the American Cancer Society and to a local cultural group called the Circle of Courage. This after-school program fundraises money for student scholarships and holiday community food and gift baskets for the less fortunate. Additionally, I volunteer time and funds to the Highgate Recreational Department, ensuring community support for a healthy living.
