What is the best career advice you have received? When most women look at a job description, they only apply for the job if they meet all the requirements. Don’t let that stop you. Just because you don’t meet all the requirements, it doesn’t mean you’re not qualified.
What motivated you to live and work in Vermont? I went to Champlain College and was offered a job at my internship after I graduated. I’ve been here ever since. The work-life balance is great and I’m just a short drive to my family in Rhode Island.
Career Highlights: The highlights so far have been graduating college with a job offer, getting my dream job at Seven Days and winning this award of course!
Community Involvement: I’m currently on the board of Sangha Studio - a nonprofit, donation-based yoga studio in Burlington. I help with the studio’s marketing and events.
