Career Highlights:
Hampton Inn and Event Center Colchester, VT 2010-present Director of Sales Responsible for the overall sales and marketing effort of the 187 room hotel with 6,000 square feet of meeting and event space. In direct supervision of the hotel Sales Manager, the Director of Catering and the Banquet Department. Increased hotel occupancy and revenue over competition. Member of the hotel service and safety committees. Hampton Inn and Event Center Colchester, VT 2007-2010 Sales Manager Duties included the selling of group room blocks and catering sales. Nearly doubled the amount of sports related groups at the hotel. Represented Vermont at two sports related trade shows to bring business to the state. Hampton Inn and Event Center Colchester, VT 2006-2007 Banquet Manager Responsible for daily operation of the hotel’s banquet department. These responsibilities include the organization, set-up and service of banquet function up to 300 people. Other responsibilities include the department payroll, staffing and maintaining budgeted revenue and costs. Also responsible for the monthly liquor inventory and maintain liquor costs. In charge of all training of hotel banquet staff. Worked closely with hotel’s sales and catering department to ensure successful and profitable events. Member of the hotel’s safety and energy management committees.

Firefighter with Milton Fire Department, First Responder with Milton Rescue, First Responder for Champlain Valley Expo, Bowling and Basketball Coach with Special Olympics Chittenden Delegation, member of Colchester/Milton Rotary Club, member of Vermont Tourism Committee.
