Career highlight you are most proud of.
Working with a co-worker to reestablish and reinvigorate our company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council. We went from only two members to around 15 in about a year and have participated in key activities to better incorporate DEI values into our organizational culture.
Community involvement.
Includes participating in the Leadership Champlain 2024 cohort, which is a professional-development and community-engagement program sponsored by the Lake Champlain Chamber. Throughout the year, we focus on a different sector and topics in Vermont to improve our knowledge of the biggest issues our community faces and inspire us to get involved and connected to the right leaders to make change.Through my career, I am also fortunate to have a link to the global community and take part in the annual Women in Global Development Leadership Forum, a virtual event that convenes individuals and organizations addressing the world’s most complex problems and develops their leadership potential. Through WILD, I have engaged and worked with women from Ghana, Georgia and India to apply for and participate in the annual WILD Forum as a panelist and presenter.
