Favorite Part of Job? Overall I enjoy meeting clients and discussing their varying business needs. Every situation is different and really keeps us on our toes and up to date with tax issues.
Tell us something fun about yourself that few people know: I love Halloween and try to visit as many Haunted Houses as I can.
Favorite Vermont Escape: Hanging at the lake, Vermont has many nice lakes to enjoy.
Favorite Downtime Activity: I love playing sports, my husband and I like to play in volleyball leagues and tournaments around Vermont
Favorite Social Media: I like Facebook to keep in touch with friends and family who are not close by as well as keep up with what is going on in the community. Often it is the first place I hear about activities going on in and around Rutland.
What motivated you to live and work in Vermont? Family and Friends were my initial motivation to work and live in Vermont. But since living in the Rutland area I have grown to appreciate the strong sense of community and the hometown atmosphere.
Career Highlights: After working in public accounting for a couples years, I officially became a Certified Public Accountant on May 24, 2011. Also in 2011, I began teaching parttime as an accounting professor at Castleton University (my alma mater). In the winter of 2015 I officially became a partner with Siliski & Buzzell Associates. That same year we merged with Davis & Hodgdon Associates, CPAs, PLC where I currently am a partner out of our Rutland, Vermont office.
Community Involvement: I started as a volunteer board member with the Rutland County Humane Society in November of 2016. I am currently the treasurer of the board.
