Favorite part of job? That's easy! My students. Seeing them succeed means the world to me. I love getting emails and thank you cards when they land their first 'real' job or move into their first 'grown up' apartment or condo. It is one of the most gratifying experiences I have ever had.

Most inspiring mentor? Barbara R. McIntosh, Ph.D., SPHR. Professor McIntosh has 44 years of marriage, two successful children, two beautiful grandchildren and an impressive academic career to show for her incredible efforts, evidence that an academic woman in business really CAN do it all and she's my Mom.

Who is your living hero? Paul Farmer, MD. Dr. Farmer's life is proof that determination, compassion and an unwillingness to accept 'no' for an answer CAN change the world and make a WORLD of difference.

Favorite downtime activity? I don't really do 'downtime', per se, but my pastime activities depend on the season... These days it's fly fishing, playing golf or dirt biking. In a few short weeks it will be skiing, skiing and skiing!

Favorite Vermont Escape? The Stone Hut on Mount Mansfield, especially on a cold and snowy night. There are a few other hidden spots, but I can't tell you about those...

Favorite social network? Facebook, but I still MUCH prefer face-face!

Favorite website? The Weather Channel

Vermont Business Person you would most want to network with? The 39 other Rising Stars.
