Career highlight you are most proud of.
Helping Encore become certified as a B Corp. This highlight is an ongoing one, as we are continually having to reevaluate our processes to ensure that we are progressing and not resting on our laurels.
Community involvement.
Being a member of the Mentor Vermont Board of Directors, helping out with the Board of Advisory for the King Street mentoring program, and trying to chip in wherever I can for events around the community.
Motivation for living and working in Vermont.
I lived in rural Vermont after my first summer here after grad school. That experience, with all it entailed, led me to fall in love with the state.
Favorite part of your job.
The new puzzles that come with our expansion as a company. We are growing and working in multiple states, which all present their own unique challenges. This variety can be both exciting and nerve racking, but ultimately rewarding.
Favorite Vermont escape.
Shelburne Fieldhouse.
Favorite Vermont season.
My favorite Vermont season is fall.
Favorite downtime activity.
Crosswording.
Causes you would support if you had unlimited access to funds.
Childhood hunger and education. There are no greater investments in my mind that have the power to change/save the world than educating those who will inherit it from us. And no one should be hungry.
Song on your playlist you are embarrassed to disclose to your best friend.
None — never be embarrassed by your jams.
Career goal you would like to accomplish in the next five to 10 years?
To see our company realize its full potential.
