Favorite part of job? My favorite part of being the owner of Armistead was having the ability to think big but then take those ideas and make them a business reality.
Most inspiring mentor? Meredith Martin Davis (a fellow award recipient) is my most inspiriting mentor. Meredith coached me through some difficult times, made me pay attention to numbers and data and believed in the business and me. Meredith is incredibly smart, talented and has a quiet sense of humor.
Who is your living hero? Nelson Mandela.
Favorite downtime activity? Dates with my husband, reading
Favorite Vermont Escape? Biking the roads of Charlotte with my family
Favorite social network? Prior to my son’s birth, I was a member of the South Burlington Rotary Club. It was a very community service oriented club with great people. I enjoyed being part of it, networking with people and working on projects that directly benefited the community.
Favorite website? www.armisteadinc.com…of course!
Vermont Business Person you would most want to network with? There are so many! I have a lot of respect and admiration for Elizabeth Robert. She’s a strong, smart and talented entrepreneur. I’m curious to meet Mary Powell and Melinda Estes. Both seem like smart, talented and savvy women.
