Career highlight(s): The career highlight I'm most proud of is co-founding a business that started as a fun side-hustle, and shortly turned into our primary income.
Community Involvement: Over the past 10 years I have been active in my community in a number of social, civic, and business organizations and boards. In 2019, I became the fifth woman ever to be elected to the Bennington Select Board.
I am an active member of the Bennington Rotary, the Norshaft Lions, and the Shires Young Professionals. In 2018, I co-founded the Bennington Food Truck Festival that has become an annual event drawing thousands of visitors to downtown Bennington.
What motivated you to live and work in Vermont? I originally moved to Vermont when my husband was offered a position in Bennington. I quickly came to love SoVt and appreciate a community in which you see your legislators at the grocery store, know and trust your neighbors, and see a friend every time you walk a block downtown.
Favorite part of your job? There are multiple parts of my job that I enjoy. I acknowledge that working with a spouse is not for everyone!
What is the best career advice you have received? The best career advice I have received is to never be afraid to take calculated risks, and be sure cut a piece of your "pie" to take time for yourself and family.
Tell us something fun about yourself that few people know: Few people know that I enjoy different cuisines. Some may call it adventurous eating. I have had the luck to have cuy in Peru, and Impala carpaccio in South Africa just to name a couple.

Favorite Vermont escape: My favorite Vermont escape is enjoying a warm day on the Battenkill followed by a maple cremee.
Favorite Super Hero and why: My favorite super hero is (was) She-ra. Why? Life is too short to take yourself seriously all the time.
Favorite Social Media and why: My favorite social media is when I take a break from all social media. Especially in 2020. :)
If you had unlimited access to funds, which cause(s) would you support: As someone who has been significantly impacted by epilepsy, I would donate a substantial amount of funds to CURE. (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy)
What one song is on your playlist that are you embarrassed to tell your best friend: Everyone knows I love "Don't stop Believin'", not embarrassed at all :)
