Favorite Part of Job: I'm fortunate that my job allows me to connect with people in the community that have similar interests as well as helping to support the community on an individual and organizational basis. I love getting to build relationships with people and help market local business owners and craftsmen to our guests. In keeping on brand with Hotel Vermont, I am lucky that my job allows me to work with everyone from the director of the Intervale to the Sailing Center to the Burlington Young Professionals.
Most Inspiring Mentor: My current boss is a great teacher and mentor. He challenges me both professionally and personally, giving guidance but also letting me fail and learn from my mistakes.
Tell us something fun about yourself that few people know: I am hopelessly addicted to Chapstick.
Favorite Vermont Escape: Camping at Green River Reservoir. You have to paddle out to the sites so it's very secluded and peaceful.
Favorite downtime activity: I'm pretty active so you can usually find me running, playing tennis, hiking or on a good day, eating breakfast for dinner and playing Settlers of Catan.
