Career highlight(s): The career highlight I'm most proud of is being part of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup local organizing committee since the first year the event came to Killington. The HomeLight Killington Cup is a festival of skiing for the fans and athletes, and over the last four years has become one of the top three events on the Women’s FIS World Cup tour.
Community Involvement: My community involvement includes Rutland Young Professional Board Member since June 2020, Rutland Economic Development Board Member since October 2017, Killington Pico Areas Association Board Member since September 2016. Member of the Killington PlayForever team and lead in implementing Killington Play it Forward projects in the local community since COVID-19 began. Projects include multiple community food drives, coordination with the Town of Killington to make sure they were able to able to host Summer Rec camps and a drive-in fireworks display for July 4th.
What motivated you to live and work in Vermont? I was motivated to live and work in Vermont because of my passion for the outdoors- in particular snowboarding & skiing.
Favorite part of your job? My favorite part of my job is a combination of every day being different plus the team that I get to work with.
What is the best career advice you have received? The best career advice I have received is to push yourself out of your comfort zone - you never know where it will lead you.
Favorite Vermont escape: My favorite Vermont escape is sitting on my front porch - watching a sunrise, sunset, storm clouds coming in or just looking out at the VT landscape.
