Career highlight you are most proud of:
The career highlight I'm most proud of is my opportunity to lead my peers as a Branch Manager, and also as Co-Chair of the Credit Union Young Professionals of Vermont
 

Community Involvement:
My community involvement includes volunteering on the board of multiple non-profits including CUYPVT and Community Capital of Vermont. In addition to my community service and board involvement, I have a strong commitment to fundraising for Make-A-Wish Vermont.
 

What motivated you to live and work in Vermont?
I am a native Vermonter, and knew I would build my life and career here. I have, and always will look forward to serving my local communities.
 

Favorite part of your job:
My favorite part of my job is empowering my team to be successful, and making a positive impact on our members lives. It is so rewarding to know that you have made a contribution to better someone else's life.

Most inspiring mentor and why:
My most inspiring mentor was my father. Sadly, I lost him a few years back, but he always encouraged me to be the best version of myself. He taught me what it means to be a compassionate and empathetic father, leader, and friend.

What is the best career advice you have received?
The best career advice I have received is to put your whole heart into everything you do. As someone who never pursued higher education, I have always made up for my lack of degree by putting forth the absolute most effort.

Tell us something fun about yourself that few people know:
I am a total history nerd, and have a passion for collecting constitutional coins & currency

What three words best describe you:
Empathetic, inquisitive and imaginative.

Favorite Vermont escape:
My favorite Vermont escape, honestly, is anywhere I can adventure with my fiancé and 3 beautiful children. Especially if it involves local food and beer!

Favorite Vermont season:
I feel like this is so generic, but my favorite Vermont season is definitely fall. There's no place more beautiful than this little state when the leaves change.

Favorite downtime activity:
My favorite downtime activity is just hanging out at home with my family. I am a bit of a homebody when I get the chance for downtime.

Favorite Social Media and why:
My favorite social media is LinkedIn. It excites me to see others successes, and if I am going to scroll through content, I would prefer it be something worth absorbing.

What is your favorite smell?
The first whiff of fresh cut grass in the spring!

If you had unlimited access to funds, which cause(s) would you support:
If I had unlimited access to funds, I would continue supporting Make-A-Wish Vermont, but would also expand that support to other programs that directly benefit our local youth.

Where do you see yourself professionally in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years I'd like to see myself right here, in Vermont, continuing my work in the VT credit union industry.

What career goal(s) would you like to accomplish in the next 5-10 years?
The career goal I'd like to accomplish in the next 5-10 years would be finding myself on the senior management team at a Vermont credit union. I see myself leading a team, sharing my experiences, and contributing to the success of our credit union network.
