Career highlight you are most proud of:

One of my proudest career highlights has been building a team of compassionate, mission-driven, funny, and dedicated women who inspire me every day. I’m also proud of taking risks, like launching a new event during the pandemic and watching it grow and thrive over the past four years. Being selected for the Rising Star award is another highlight, as it reflects not just my work, but the incredible support and collaboration I've had along the way.

Community Involvement:
Giving back to the community is incredibly important to me, and I seek out opportunities that not only contribute to the greater good but also fill my cup. Over the years, I’ve been involved in a range of activities, from singing as a member of Root7, Vermont’s premier co-ed a cappella group, to more recently serving in board leadership roles at Temple Sinai and the South Burlington Business Association. These experiences allow me to stay connected to the community in meaningful ways.
I also believe in continually building my skills to make Vermont a better place. Currently, I am part of the 2025 cohort of Leadership Champlain, where I’m focused on developing my leadership abilities to create positive change. Additionally, I serve on the advisory board for CommonGood Vermont, where I help strengthen and advocate for the nonprofit sector across the state. These roles allow me to blend my personal passions with my professional goals, all in service of making a lasting impact.

What motivated you to live and work in Vermont?
Ever since I visited Vermont for a job interview in 2011, it instantly felt like home. Now, it’s where I met my husband, started our family with our two boys and dog, and continue to be surrounded by passionate people working to make a difference—it keeps pulling me in.

Favorite part of your job:
I love the spontaneous dance parties at Lund's childcare center, working with such passionate, dedicated rockstars, and constantly laughing. Walking into work each day with excitement and passion for our mission makes it all even better.

What is the best career advice you have received?
The best career advice I've received is to always surround yourself with people who are smarter than you.

Favorite Vermont escape:
My favorite Vermont escape is spending a day in Stowe. The perfect day would be driving up, starting with a massage at Top Notch, grabbing lunch at the Trapp Family Lodge Bierhall, taking a walk along the bike path, and finishing the day at Idletyme. It’s the ultimate way to relax and enjoy Vermont’s beauty!

Favorite Vermont season:
Fall is hands down my favorite season. It’s the perfect sweater weather, with so many opportunities to be outside enjoying all that Vermont has to offer — it's simply beautiful.

Favorite downtime activity:
As a mom of two boys under three, it's hard to remember what downtime is! These days, my go-to is relaxing with some popcorn and watching something on TV.

What one song is on your playlist that are you embarrassed to tell your best friend:

The song on my playlist I would be embarrassed to tell my best friend is Peaches from the Super Mario Brothers Move Soundtrack.

Where do you see yourself professionally in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I see myself running a mission-driven non-profit in Vermont, making a meaningful impact while bringing vision and value to the organization and the community.
